The U13s enjoyed a rare outing on the Astro at Lymm Rovers running out 8-0 winners in a strong performance in all areas. Thaddeus the cat unflappable in goal. The defence solid. With Leo out with a sore toe it was Niall who took it upon himself to be more Leo. The midfield knocked the ball around in little triangles and the front line raced onto through balls to cause their defence all sorts of problems. Goals for Ryli (4), Mateo (2)and Freddie and Enda. Shout out to Steven also on his debut. 👏👏😄

It was a day to forget for the U13s today against Flixton losing 10-1 with a goal from Lawson (our only shot of the game). Nobody turned up mentally. Lots to work on

It was a close battle for the U13s getting a rare game thanks to the Astro in Knutsford against Edgerton. What was a close battle ended in a stunning 9-3 victory thanks to taking our chances and being solid in defence. Goals from Jack (4) on debut, Lawson (3), Jacob and Mateo. The U13s showed some class today to run out 18-1 winners against Alderley United. Alderley only had 10 from the start. We started with 11 but quickly dropped to 10 after our first couple of goals. We continued to dominate throughout the first half as it finished 11-0. To try and make it more of a game we started the second half with 9 but still dominated going forwards. Goals from Jack, Mateo, Nye, Lawson Jacob, Enda and Christopher. Back to the reality of grass next week but enjoy this week’s result and half term for most

A great game for the U13s today. An 8-2 home victory against Altrincham FC. First game at home for a long time and a full team effort. A first goal for Steven. Goals also for Lawson, Jack, Mateo, Nye and Christopher. Biggest shout out to Leo and Jacob for superb goalkeeping. A total pleasure to watch

An amazing game from the U13s today. What a way to start a Sunday. A 9-0 victory over Urmston. What started as a squad of 15 was down to 9 by kick off. Every one of the 9 worked harder and you wouldn’t have known we were down on numbers. Given the score I can’t remember how many shots we missed. Our xG must have been about 30. Goals from Jack, Lawson, Ryli, Christopher and Mateo. Shout out to Ryli and Christopher for going in goal. It was first blood to the U13s against top of the league Winton Wanderers. We play them again at home in a couple of weeks and then in the cup final a week later. We cannot yet catch them in the league even if we beat them and win all our games. Still we will take the 4-3 victory in the sunshine. It was a great game. End to end with some really good battles going on all over the pitch. It was interesting to watch them come up against a team of equals and come out on top. They will hopefully learn a lot from not being able to just walk past players and having to think, move and pass. Some great goals from Jack, Christopher (2) and Freddie. A very dissatisfying end to the U13s league campaign with a 3-1 defeat to league champions Winton. I have no idea what got into them today. Somehow intimidated by a team we beat only 10 days ago. It they had a very good goalkeeper but we let him control everything rather than making him work. Well done to Sam and Nye for stepping up to go in goal and Lawson getting the goal. We play them again in the cup final next weekend. We can easily win it if we have the belief 🇳🇬🇳🇬
