Early Season
The season opened brilliantly with a 5–3 win away at Sale Coyotes — Harry bagging two, with Keizo, Noah and Henry also on the scoresheet. A second away win followed at Hough End the following week, and Fletcher Moss were beaten 1–0 in the 88th minute thanks to a Keizo penalty.
Three wins from the first three games was a perfect start. The good vibes carried into October, although the Winton Wanderers brought the side back down to earth with a 9–1 defeat at Turn Moss.
Mid-Season
November and December proved the toughest stretch — five league defeats, including 9–1 reverses against Hough End and Trafford, tested the squad's resilience. But the managers kept things positive and the lads responded.
January brought renewed optimism. A 2–3 defeat at Winton was one of the performances of the season — both teams committed, admirably trying to pass the ball, playing in a great spirit. A friendly draw with Wythenshawe (2–2) and a cup semi-final run showed real growth.
Run-in
The cup semi-final against Trafford on March 22 was a highlight — George Noden was exceptional in goal, Henry scored and the boys took a strong side all the way to the final whistle.
The final league game of the season — a 4–5 home defeat to Winton Wanderers — summed up the campaign perfectly. Dalton scored twice, Luke and Henry added goals, and St John's had two gilt-edged chances to win it in the closing minutes before Winton grabbed a late winner.
