13 Sep League Away RS Titans 2–2 Draw 1 🏅 Jamie

A real game of two halves at Kingsway School. Titans scored early and had the better of the first half but the lads stood strong. A dominant second half saw Petr break the offside trap to equalise before squaring for Micah to make it 2–1. We had a few more chances but a late RS corner crept into the corner for 2–2, with the ref blowing straight away. Tough one to take, but a draw probably fair on the day. Jamie never stopped running on the right wing, causing problems in both directions.

20 Sep League Home Salford L&G 6–8 Loss 0 🏅 Jamie

A remarkable game in terrible conditions at Turn Moss. St John's raced into a 2–0 lead before switching off and shipping four goals. A half-time rollicking sparked an extraordinary second-half comeback — we clawed it back to 6–7 with two minutes on the clock before a late penalty settled it at 6–8. A poor 25-minute spell cost us, but heads never dropped against a strong, physical team. Immensely proud of the lads for that second-half performance. MOTM Jamie: two goals, an assist and non-stop energy.

27 Sep League Away Salford Storm 4–1 Win 3 🏅 Javar

Our first league win of the season and the lads were brilliant. Quick passing and off-the-ball running tore Lightning apart. Harry got the first with a lovely finish under the keeper. Javar won a header at a corner that somehow ended up in the net. Petr hit the bar and their keeper made a great save from Ewan's overhead kick before Petr latched onto two Javar through-balls to seal a comfortable 4–1. Breathtaking football at times. MOTM Javar: three assists and a real captain's performance from the back.

04 Oct League Away Wythenshawe W Abn

The referee called the game off due to unplayable conditions — standing water in the goalmouth — before half time. Raphie had time to score from a corner before the whistle — typical! A massive thank you to everyone who braved the weather to get there.

11 Oct SDFL Cup Home Salford United 3–7 Loss 0 🏅 Max

Always going to be a tough ask against a Division 1 side and current cup holders. Ivan scored directly from a corner and Petr grabbed two lovely finishes. We clawed back to within a goal on three separate occasions but just couldn't maintain the momentum. The opposition coach came over afterwards and complimented us on how well we'd played. MOTM Max: excellent in the no.10 role, at the heart of all our good link-up play between midfield and attack.

18 Oct League Away Swinton Panthers 3–2 Win 3 🏅 Luke

What a game on a horrendous pitch! Dylan H put us ahead before half time and grabbed two more in the second half — though everyone agreed Petr's header had clearly crossed the line before the ref waved it away. Noah was sin-binned for dissent and we played the final ten minutes with ten men. Swinton pulled it back to 2–3 with hearts in mouths before Luke appeared from absolutely nowhere with a heroic last-ditch sliding tackle. MOTM Luke: immense at centre-back throughout.

01 Nov League Home Winton Wanderers 7–2 Win 3 🏅 Dylan C

Winton started the day two points above us in the table and we swept them completely aside. Dylan C was absolutely outstanding — four goals including a penalty, causing chaos throughout. Max added two great strikes and Petr got a well-deserved goal. A dominant second-half performance after a tight first forty minutes. MOTM Dylan C: four goals and a brilliant all-round display, excelling in the no.10 role.

08 Nov League Away Man South End 3–3 Draw 1 🏅 Dylan H

Remembrance weekend — both teams observed a minute's silence with real respect before kick-off. Dylan H scored three times but we found ourselves behind each time he equalised. Their keeper had an inspired game to keep it level. A frustrating draw on a pitch that made Turn Moss look like Wembley, but on another day we win comfortably. MOTM Dylan H: hat-trick and relentless off-the-ball running all game.

22 Nov League Away Ordsall Park 4–0 Win 3 🏅 Petr

Ordsall started the day above us in the league with only one defeat. A tactically superb performance — the 5-3-2 system worked a treat. Connor opened the scoring with a long-range shot, Petr curled a beauty into the top corner from a short corner routine and added a second, then Luke saved the absolute best for last — an absolute rocket from the edge of the area. MOTM Petr: two great finishes and brilliant link-up play throughout.

13 Dec Plate Cup Away Whalley Range 5–2 Win 3 🏅 Micah

A local derby in the Plate Cup and the lads came through in style. Dylan H opened with a lovely left-foot finish. Micah burst into the box to make it 2–0 before Max took over completely — three clinical goals including a composed hat-trick finish after Whalley Range had pulled two back to make it nervous. MOTM Micah: asked to play wing-back, covered every blade of grass and capped it with a brilliant finish.

20 Dec League Home RS Titans 5–4 Win 3 🏅 Dylan C

What a way to end 2025! A cracking game at Turn Moss that went right to the wire. The lads went 5–4 up and Dylan C then pulled off a stunning last-minute penalty save to preserve the win. The WhatsApp group absolutely exploded — LIMBS!! A brilliant Christmas present for everyone.

24 Jan League Home Wythenshawe W 0–5 Loss 0 🏅 Ivan

Always going to be a tough ask against a team who had taken 33 points from 11 games. Luke had a goal harshly ruled out for offside, Dylan C was fouled for a penalty that the keeper saved, and we went in 0–2 at half time. Couldn't get going against the wind in the second half. The scoreline really didn't reflect the game — both the referee and the opposition coach said how well we played. Extremely proud of the lads' attitude. MOTM Ivan: never stopped running for the full 80 minutes.

31 Jan League Away Salford L&G 3–1 Win 3 🏅 Luke & Sonny

Revenge for the early-season defeat. A completely controlled performance — barely gave the ball away, battled hard when we lost it, and played some beautiful passing football. Dylan H slotted home from a through-ball; an OG from a corner made it 2–1. Then Dylan C's third was a wonder goal — 20 yards, keeper off his line, first time, straight over the top and into the net. The referee complimented the lads on their composure. Joint MOTM Luke and Sonny.

21 Feb League Cup Home Wythenshawe W 1–5 Loss 0 🏅 Micah

A tough opener in the League Cup group phase. We actually took the lead — a quick free kick found Petr in the box who lobbed the keeper with his very first touch as a substitute. Wythenshawe's physicality told as the game went on. Digby made several great saves to keep the score respectable. MOTM Micah: non-stop running, energy and effort, put in great tackles regardless of position.

07 Mar League Cup Away RS Titans 5–2 Win 3 🏅 Dylan H

The lads went two goals down on a difficult pitch before finding their feet. Jamie latched onto a great Dylan cross and finished first time to make it 2–1. Two clinical Dylan H finishes put us 2–3 ahead, and Luke dropped into centre-back for more control. Dylan H sealed it with two more on the break in the final minutes. George was magnificent on his debut in goal — a world-class save drew the loudest cheer of the day. MOTM Dylan H: four goals and an assist.

21 Mar League Cup Home Salford L&G 3–0 Win 3 🏅 Raphie

A completely professional performance. Dylan C lifted a finish into the top corner after a brilliant mazy run from Max. Ivan's corner was fumbled into the net under pressure from Raphie. A lovely touch from Petr put Dylan H through on goal to round the keeper from a tight angle. The lads worked tirelessly and barely gave Digby a single thing to do. MOTM Raphie: won every tackle, header and clearance, showed great composure on the ball throughout.

15 Apr League Cup Away Winton Wanderers 8–2 Win 3 🏅 Ewan

A cracking final group game on a wet Wednesday evening in Eccles — four wins from five in the group and what a way to do it. Goals were shared around beautifully: Petr and Micah made it 2–0 quickly, Connor finished from a great corner routine and Ilyas fired home for 4–0 at half time. Jamie, Sonny, Max and Luke all scored in the second half. Dylan C saved a penalty and had two goals disallowed. MOTM Ewan: bombing up and down the left wing all night, creating chances and grabbing two assists.

18 Apr League Home Ordsall Park 5–3 Win 3 🏅 Ethan

A brilliant comeback that showed real character. Third versus fourth in the league and Ordsall made it 3–1 after half time — but heads never dropped. Harry scored direct from a corner to make it 3–2, and Raphie smashed home the equaliser. Their keeper pulled off two stunning saves before Petr tapped home and Dylan H sealed it in the final minutes. MOTM Ethan: pace, power and constant communication at the back all afternoon.

Steve described it afterwards as the best passing game of the entire season. Petr opened the scoring before Dylan H struck a stunning half-volley into the roof of the net. Luke then stepped up and curled a 30-yard beauty into the top corner. Max slotted home from a slick short corner routine for 4–0 at half time. Dylan H added a header at the back post after the break. The first half in particular was as good as we've played all year. MOTM Luke: controlled the midfield, scored a beauty and set up the fifth.

25 Apr League Home Swinton Panthers 5–2 Win 3 🏅 Petr

A cracking game in the April sunshine. Petr side-footed us in front early on before Swinton equalised with a great strike. Max had a penalty saved just before half time. The lads raised their game in the second half — Petr slotted in a perfect cutback from Dylan H, who then broke the offside trap to make it 3–1. Swinton pulled one back before Jamie met Petr's cross with a beautiful volley at the back post. Petr sealed his hat-trick smashing home the rebound after his own shot hit the post. MOTM Petr: hat-trick, an assist, calm and composed throughout.

29 Apr League Away Whalley Range 2–3 Loss 0 🏅 Ethan

A real game of two halves at Hough End. Three Whalley Range free kicks had us 3–0 down at half time in difficult conditions. The second half was a completely different story — Dylan C lobbed the keeper to make it 3–1 and then hit the post with a great header. Petr made it 3–2 with a calm finish. We hit the woodwork again, had goalmouth scrambles, but it just wouldn't go in. We would go on to beat them at home before the end of the season. MOTM Ethan: dominated their striker throughout.

09 May League Away Reddish Vulcans 12–0 Win 3 🏅 Lucas

Champagne football from the very first whistle — one of the great performances of the season. Dylan C bagged four, Petr four — some absolutely stunning goals including a Dylan C top-corner special in the opening minutes. 5–0 at half time and the lads came back hungry for more. Lucas capped the whole thing in style — a lung-busting run from centre-back into the penalty area, a saved penalty, then absolutely hammering home the rebound. The celebration was something special. MOTM Lucas: composed at the back, always found a team-mate, and loved every second of that goal.

The perfect way to finish the league season — a brilliant away win. Dylan H latched onto a great Ilyas ball for an early lead. Dylan C met a lovely cross from Luke with a diving header. Winton pulled one back just before half time. Second half was a different story — St John's were ruthless. All three strikers completed their hat-tricks in an extraordinary second half. Jamie's beautifully controlled volley at the back post and Ivan's top-corner finish from the edge of the area were the standout goals. Digby and the defence were solid throughout. MOTM Ilyas: captain on the day, never stopped running, won absolutely everything.

One of the performances of the season from the lads. Dylan latched onto a through-ball to round their keeper after 30 seconds. Jamie popped up at the back post for 2–0. Ivan fired home from the edge of the box for 3–0 at half time. Whalley Range got back into it from a corner and quickly scored a second for 3–2 — but the lads stayed calm. Dylan quickly restored a two-goal advantage before crossing for Petr to fire home for 5–2. A fantastic all-round team performance. The win clinched 2nd place in the division with a game to play! MOTM Ethan: an absolute rock at the back.

23 May League Away Wythenshawe W 4–4 Draw 1 🏅 Digby

What a game to finish the season — against the champions who had not dropped a single point all season. Ewan crashed home a great volley from a corner for 1–0. Wythenshawe levelled before Petr slotted home from a tight angle for 2–1 at half time. Petr made it 3–1 before Wythenshawe drew level with two scrappy set-piece goals. Petr completed his hat-trick for 4–3. A controversial handball penalty made it 4–4. Then a dubious handball against Lucas — hearts in mouths — but Wythenshawe missed the spot kick. A heroic draw to clinch 2nd place in the division. Steve: 'It was honestly the best I have seen every player play this whole year.' MOTM Digby — tipped a shot onto the post, commanding throughout.
